Success! Message received.

The first thing you need to know about my family is that we love living and being part of Vineyard City...what an amazing place to live. A little background on Julie and I. I grew up in Southern California and Julie in Calgary, Canada. Her family eventually moved to Utah. We then met in a singles ward when she had moved back home for a little bit during her college years and I was wrapping up at BYU. It was love at first site...which if you've seen Julie you will understand! Her outward appearance is dwarfed only by the person she is and all she does as a wife and mother. She is truly my everything and the same for our boys. We have four boys: Michael (11), Mac (10), Mitch (5...can't be 6 soon enough), and Mark (He would have been 3 now, but I guess the plan was for him to watch over us from the other side...we miss him and think of him often).

We have loved the last 7 years of being in the Vineyard Town and now City area. We love calling this home. I want to also expound a little more on why I want to be part of Vineyard City in an even more meaningful way.

My hope is, that by running for city council here in Vineyard, my commitment to our community is clear. Further, I desire to see us continue forward in the best possible direction. I believe that my background as a paramedic fire fighter, along with business ventures, uniquely qualifies me to represent and assess our community from many angles. As we continue to grow, our ability to adapt, overcome, and work together will be essential. As a paramedic fire fighter that is what I am called to do every time I go on shift. With my additional background in business I can also represent the vast majority of Vineyard City members in what we are all striving to see...growth with organization while maintaining the Vineyard City feel we have come to know and love. I know "feel" is vague but if you have been here for any length of time you will get what I mean, or in time, you will see what makes Vineyard City such a great place to live.
